Nursery again, for the first time in roughly three weeks since 15 April. Not fully open, but he will be going two or three days a week. A real relief. We are all still working out how, and at what distance, to get along with each other under the circumstances.
The pictures my son has brought home from nursery are up on the wall. I photograph them. He comes home, sees them there, and shows very little interest in his own past work. In the evening, looking at the full moon, he said: "The moon is coming closer. It nearly makes you cry. It's a bit frightening."
Once he is asleep, in a quiet kitchen, I get the sourdough starter ready to bake tomorrow.
